Map of Health Status of Forest from Satellite Images Landsat

Publications Classification of forest health based on Landsat TM using Web services as part RPFD. Source of the time series data from Landsat TM since 1984 Danger zones forests affected by air pollution (air pollution hazard) was created around 1958 at the Research Institute of Forestry and Wildlife Jiloviste Strnady-differentiation as a tool for forest management under changing environmental conditions due to negative anthropogenic influences. To assess the degree of damage of a tree was chosen because of its defoliation, to evaluate the degree of damage of forest cover proportion of heavily damaged trees in their number and classification of the dynamics of forests by air pollution danger zone, described as an area of ??approximately the same rate of deterioration in the degree of damage adult spruce stands. The basic underlying damage to vegetation classification was elaborated by STOKLASA Tech. Prague in 1995 on the basis of entries (slides) Landsat TM-5. There are two main outputs rated \\"The condition of forest stands in the scale of damage and mortality (related to scenes in which the damage to forest vegetation classified according to the Czech degrees of vegetation damage scale) for the years 1984-85, 1986-88, 1990-1992, 1993-94, 1994-2007 and \\"The health of coniferous forests in the scale defoliation and mortality. The aim of the work was thus aligning objectification and zoning of forests under threat due to air pollution and updates on recent developments, not a change in the definition. FMI prepared in 2005 a web-based application with Mapserver support for Web services. made available where the unique information from satellite images of Landsat TM and Landsat ETM + (time series from 1984 to 2007) in the form of a seamless map compositions in the whole country.

Assistance to government, local government and forest owners to implement conservation measures in forest base for tax relief to forest owners. The aim is to provide users with the information signal and evaluation of health condition of forests on the image from the Landsat satellites. The satellite image data contained information that allows the general to assess the condition of vegetation (especially the state of biomass). • The evaluation is to obtain information about the overall health of forests as a result of the present industrial action exhalation, biotic pests, habitat conditions and human activities. Sign indicating the classification of the territory into one of the four zones has become a dynamic state of health changes recorded under defoliation (damage class) stand • Ensure monitoring of changes in health status for risk zoning forests affected by air pollution in the Act 289/1995 Coll. supplemented by Decree of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Czech Republic (Ministry of Agriculture) No. 78/1996 Coll • Prepare an objective basis for remedial measures against damage caused by environmental loads (especially air pollution). Eg. biological reclamation approach for the design of a minimum share of reclamation and stabilization trees (ASD) in restoring the forest to the proposal to maintain their share until cleanse them. • prepare an objective basis for subsidy and allowance policy in forestry, with particular regard to the risk of chronic habitat.
