Consolidated Layer of Ecosystems - version 2022
CLES is a land cover dataset dividing the territory of the Czech Republic into 40 categories. Compiled with the support from the Integrated LIFE project for Natura 2000 in the Czech Republic, LIFE-IP: N2K Revisited (LIFE17 IPE/CZ/000005). Version 2022 is based on update of previous versions. The main differences between CLES 2022 and CLES 2021: updated data, removal of insignificant small polygons, rename of „Intensive grasslands“ into „Degraded grassland“, „urban fabric“ is renamed to „built-up area“. CLES 2022 and 2021 does not divide watercourses into natural and non-natural, and does not distinguish between urban and non-urban areas.
