ATOM Download Service for the Data250
The ATOM download service for Data250 is publicly available and provides data of the Topographic database of the Czech Republic (Data250). The service provides data for the whole territory of the Czech Republic in shapefile data format. The database is organised into eight thematic groups – administrative boundaries, hydrography, transportation, settlements, geographic names, miscellaneous objects, vegetation, surface and altimetry. The service fulfills the technical instructions for INSPIRE Download Services in the version 3.1. Datasets are compressed (ZIP) for downloading.

Service was created on the the Directive on construction of spatial data infrastructure in the European Community (INSPIRE), which is valid from 15 May 2007. Into national legislation in the Czech Republic, the Directive was transposed by the Act No. 380/2009 Coll., amending Act No. 123/1998 Coll., establishing the right to information on the environment, as subsequently amended, and Act No. 200/1994 Coll., on surveying and amending and supplementing certain acts related to its introduction, as amended. Full transposition was supplemented by Decree No. 103/2010 Coll., implementing certain provisions of the Act to provide environmental information.
