Fabricius' map of Moravia, year 1569
Map of Moravia and the adjacent border region from 1569. Author: Paulus Fabricius. The map is oriented to the north. It depicts 532 settlements, hydrography, vegetation, relief and boundaries. German terminology is used; descriptions are in Czech, Latin and German. The map is decorated with the coats of arms of the countries concerned. The map is very simple but clear.
