Map of the Czech Republic 1 : 2,000,000

The Map of the Czech Republic 1:2 000 000 (MČR 2M) is based on the content of the Map of the Czech Republic 1:500 000 and the Map of the Czech Republic 1:1 000 000. It covers the entire territory of the Czech Republic on a single A4 map sheet. The map contains planimetry, altimetry, a geographical grid, descriptions and a map legend. The planimetry includes settlements, roads (motorways, roads, railways), hydrography (significant watercourses and reservoirs), boundaries (state and regional), vegetation and land surface (forests). The altimetry includes elevation points. The description includes standardised geographical nomenclature (names of settlements and hydrography), the name and scale of the map with imprint data, graphic scale data, the text of the map legend and frame data (geographical coordinates). The content of the map is also continuously shown on adjacent parts of the territories of neighbouring states.
