Map of Administrative Division of the Czech Republic 1:250,000

The Administrative Division Map of the Czech Republic 1:250 000 (MSR 250) covers the territory of the Czech Republic in 13 map sheets of various formats according to the extent and shape of individual regions and does not have a continuous layout of map sheets (map sheets overlap). MSR 250 contains boundaries, settlements and descriptions. The boundaries are distinguished as state, regional, district and territorial district boundaries in the capital city of Prague, further as boundaries of statutory cities, town districts in statutory cities, town districts and urban parts in the capital city of Prague, boundaries of administrative districts of municipalities with extended competence (level III municipalities) and municipalities with an authorised municipal office (level II municipalities), cities or municipalities, cadastre units (territorial-technical units) and boundaries of municipal overlaps into the territory of another municipality. The settlements are distinguished as the capital city, statutory cities, regional cities, cities, market towns, municipalities, military districts and their parts. The seats of regions, administrative districts in the capital city of Prague, municipalities with extended competence and municipalities with an authorised municipal office are underlined. The description includes the names of settlements, districts, town districts in statutory cities and town districts and urban parts in the capital city of Prague, frame and non-frame data and the text of the explanatory notes. Complete explanatory notes are given on each map sheet. The content of MSR 250 is shown across the entire map field on individual map sheets within the territory of the relevant region, as well as on adjacent parts of neighbouring regions, but only within the territory of the Czech Republic. The map is published in two versions – with colour filling of territorial administrative units and without colour filling of territorial administrative units. The latter version is particularly suitable for adding custom thematic content.
