ZTM 10/ETRS89 was created in 2023 from ZTM 10/S-JTSK as an extension of the national map series to include the ZTM 10 variant in the ETRS89-TMzn plane coordinate system. It is available as print files in PDF format (CMYK) containing the complete content of the map sheet, and in raster TIFF format (RGB, 24-bit colour depth, 508 dpi, LZW compression). The distribution unit is the ZTM 10/ETRS89 map sheet. In the case of the print PDF, the map sheet size is 500 × 790 mm. In the case of the raster TIFF tile, the segment size is 411 × 522 mm. The position of individual tiles in the coordinate system is ensured by world files (TFW).
ZTM 10/ETRS89 belongs to the national map series at medium scales. These maps are topographical in character and contain planimetry, altimetry, and map lettering. The digital form of the medium-scale national map series benefits from uniform processing for the entire territory of the Czech Republic and is used in geographical information systems, map portals, and web applications. Given the level of detail and low degree of generalisation, ZTM 10/ETRS89 is particularly suitable for agendas in the field of detailed spatial planning and design and for construction design activities of a local character.

The Base Topographic Map of the Czech Republic 1:10 000 in ETRS89 (ZTM 10/ETRS89) extends the national map series with a variant of ZTM 10 in the plane coordinate system ETRS89-TMzn, serving as an alternative to ZTM 10 in the national coordinate system S-JTSK. ZTM 10/ETRS89 is produced by transforming ZTM 10/S-JTSK data, followed by data quality control and the addition of marginal and extramarginal information. The source data for ZTM 10/S-JTSK are the Fundamental Base of Geographic Data of the Czech Republic (ZABAGED®) and the Database of Geographical Names of the Czech Republic (Geonames). The data are processed in Esri FGDB and subsequently exported to PDF print files (CMYK) with the complete content of each map sheet and TIFF raster files in RGB colour space with 24-bit colour depth, 508 dpi resolution, and LZW compression.
