Kvalita

SurIS was developed in the 1990s at the National Information Centre of the Czech Republic. Most of its databases contain coordinates that are usable in map applications.
Mineral deposits and resources are identified by alphanumeric codes (letter referring to a specific subregister + seven-digit number).
The database comprises the following subregisters:
B - registered reserved mineral deposits
D - registered non-reserved mineral deposits
N - other unregistered mineral deposits and resources (deposits of reserved and non-reserved minerals for which at least prospected reserves were calculated). These are mostly smaller non-reserved mineral resources, whose calculated reserves were not approved and therefore not included in subregister D. Also included are former reserved deposits that are not viable for various reasons (mostly due to non-approved calculations of reserves) and that usually do not fit the present criteria of economic viability. These "mineral deposits" are however not listed in subregisters V, Z or U because their reserves were calculated in the past and never exhausted.
P - approved prognostic resources of reserved minerals
R - approved prognostic resources of non-reserved minerals
Q - other registered prognostic resources
V - non-prospective mineral occurrences and negative exploration results (mineral accumulations not defined as deposits under § 4 of Act No. 44/1988 on the protection and use of mineral resources [Mining Act])
U - exhausted mineral deposits
Z - cancelled sites of mineral deposits or resources
