Dictionary of toponymic terminology for the standardization of geographical names

The Czech edition is based on the English version of the "Glossary of Terms for the Standardisation of Geographical Names" prepared by the Working Group on Toponymic Terminology (WGTT) of the United Nations Group of Experts on Geographical Names (UNGEGN). The glossary contains many examples for better understanding of its content. These examples were partly taken from the UN glossary and partly replaced or supplemented by examples from the Czech linguistic environment. The numbering of terms (entries) corresponds to the numbering in other language versions of the UNGEGN member states (e.g. Arabic, French, German, Polish, Russian). 58 pages and 375 entries + appendices.
